About Us
How Change Started In Iowa

Our Story
VitaRenova began as a simple idea in a college classroom. As immigrants who came to the United States as children from war-torn countries, we grew up in neighborhoods where waste and litter were everywhere, yet opportunities for recycling or environmental education were scarce.
We saw firsthand how lack of resources and awareness can leave communities struggling with problems that could be prevented. What started as Coasters4Cause, a project to turn plastic bags into handmade coasters, quickly grew into something bigger. We realized that recycling isn’t just about materials, it’s about people, education, and access.
Today, VitaRenova is committed to reimagining recycling practices, so they are not only more efficient but also more inclusive. We believe real change happens when communities are given the tools and knowledge to make better choices about consumption and disposal. By working with local partners, we strive to bridge gaps in recycling education and infrastructure, creating solutions that last.
Our mission starts in Iowa, where we aim to strengthen community recycling efforts, with a vision of one day bringing our impact to a global scale. At VitaRenova, we believe small, innovative steps can spark lasting environmental transformation.
